Tensile translucent outdoor material on circular tower creates a heavenly shadow on the earthly materials below. It is an area which is metaphorically open to community with a barbecue like kitchen. In contrast the living quarters is a very closed box structure that separates public and private life. The living and study are raised on the first floor and the simple plan bedroom with en suite is on the lower cooler zone. The fabric outer creates a film to reduce heat on the internal sitting area of the residence. The internal space of the living/study area utilises extra storage within the current walls without need for future additions. The fenestration's mimic the cross featured on the tensile skin by allowing lines of sight to to surrounding community.
